I can't understand where is the problem: in the driver i've compiled,
on the ODBC settings, a bug?

Under Windows when the user guide talks about odbc.ini file, i guess i
should consider the corresponding settings inside the registry, the
ones i set in the DSN properties, right? The odbc.ini cited in the
guide is the one used by unixODBC and i suppose it souldn't be created
under Windows.
But then, when i use a connect string that call a system DSN, where
does it get searched? In the registry? In FreeTDS.conf?

What i would obtain is the PHP's PDO_ODBC module to use FreeTDS rather
than the MS driver, so i can have a consistent behaviour between
Windows and Linux. And i expect that the osql bundled with MSSQL
should works too.

I'm confused and i hope to find here some light.

Cesare.
