Shane... mssql is known to be slower than mysql. However considering
result you have I would suggest to improve connection time. Perhaps name
resolution is slower, try to use a direct IP in configuration. What does
you mean by "search page" ?? Are you using full text search? Have you
correctly configured it in mssql?
