Some of the bigger labels have dropped their prices a buck or two, but in response to declinging sales, not for the lawsuit. even losing the lawsuit their practices still made them far more money than they had to pay out in the settlement. considering it's still a net profit, there's no real disincentive for them.

Yep. It's almost enough to buy an overpriced CD from the Big 5.
