Well, the BSD thing is a burden on *advertisers*, sure. I'm not sure
that the FSF thinks it's a burden on users or a limit on freedom,
though.

Anyways, I think Attribution is probably more analogous to the
copyright clause in the license, which doesn't seem to get anybody up
in arms.
