Did you ever have a good idea at work, but did not share because were afraid
someone is going to take credit for it?

How about bringing Creative Commons inside corporations - or any large
collections of people who are already bound by some non-default copyright?

In general, an employment contract contains a clause claiming that an employer
has all rights to all works produced by an employee during work hours (or
something similar). This is fine and makes sense, but does not really
encourage sharing of ideas. Noone is guaranteed any credit whatsoever with
this statement.

Would BY work in this case? It might, or it might not - it depends on
feasibility of attribution (like it was mentioned on an older post, some radio
stations do not credit the authors, and it would be prohibitive to force them
to read a list of several pages with the names). Also - does it mean that an
employment contract needs to be altered to give a right to CC-BY instead of a
general copyright?

If this problem is solved, it will open up a great possibility for people to
freely share their ideas at work and about work. Facilitating and managing
that flow might become a challenge, but that's a totally different problem.

Maxim.
