I can't get PCMCIA cards to work with 2.2.26 modules

I have five PCMCIA cards. Every one of them works with
the 2.2.26 modules for BL3. Perhaps your config is wrong?

I have three cards. The CF adaptor works with 2.2.26 and 2.2.16.
The modem works with 2.2.16 but not with 2.2.26 until after you have used the adaptor. The network card works with 2.2.16 but not 2.2.26.
I used identical hardware and config both times, nothing changed but the kernel and modules.

The network module is one you posted but it did not come with the downloaded 3.40 file, and I don't think you tested it yourself.

I have not tried other modems because they are slower than this 56K one.

So I went back to 2.2.16, which appears to me to be less buggy or better tested or something, with 2.4.31 for USB storage. I don't have any hardware supported by 2.2.26 but not 2.2.16.

Cheers,
Steven
