>>Install the kbd.tgz package...

I got this package now and I also unpacked it. Now I need to know how to
install it.
I found the doinst.sh in the /install directory but I don`t know how to use
it and if it is needed to install a german keyboard. The mapping I want to
use is de.map.gz, it is in /usr/lib...

Please be helpful again
Thanks,

Marcus

Install the kbd.tgz package from the Slackware version that matches your
version of BL and read the instructions that come with it. BL1 or 3 can
use SW3.x. BL2 uses SW7.x. The package comes with many standard
keyboards and you can also modify them and change screen fonts. This is
for the console mode. I am sure there is something similar for X.
