I think he is referring not to BL3 but to BL2 (in the past...) and I agree
that it would be very helpful to replace the busybox commands with the
larger ones when installing Bl2 to hard drive. And add echo from
shutils.tgz (which I think was already done for BL3) so that scripts would
work properly. I would appreciate a package to do this replacement. I
know I had problems trying to compile with some of the busybox commands
(sort) and I think other people mentioned that some programs or scripts
would not run because the busybox commands did not use the switches that
were called for. I did manage to replace the commands, but it took a
while each time something failed to figure out what needed to be replaced.

In the instructions for BL2, which is intended for installing to HD, it
would be nice to have this information so that we will know what to
replace, before we have problems.

I would love to have this add-on, for BL2. I am unlikely to attempt to
compile anything with BL3, not enough space.

Will the ftp program from BL1 work with BL3?

Maybe someone with disk space can volunteer to keep BL1 available online?
Are you planning to keep the zip file but not the add-ons? Won't the same
add-ons work in BL3?
