Karl,
You don't have to trust what Ron Wyatt says, you can look at the Bible refs
yourself and other evidence.
Others have been to the site in Saudi also.

This is poetry where I read it as God indicating his omnipresence, that not
only from Sinai, but also from other places he looks down with approval upon
his people. Thus from this text, I do not see it as an indicator of where
Sinai is to be found.
