They both have a schewa. However, the second has a
schewa on a letter with gemination and therefore the
schewa is mobile, whereas in the first example it is
quiescent. The mobile schewa is usually pronounced
like a patah in the Tiberian vocalization, and this case
is one of those usual cases. However, since you are
not interested in pronunciation all that should matter to
you is that they both have a schewa.

No, you outright refused to answer.

But the root CB) is used in two very different meanings here. Just because
the
root is the same and the morphological category is the same does not mean that
the word has the exact same meaning. Also, in a qal common of CB) we should
expect a dagesh on the Bet, exactly like in Isaiah. Do you have an
explanation
as to why it should drop? However, for the matter at hand, the difference in
dagesh in the Bet in this case does match up with the difference in meaning of
the root CB). My suggestion is to see this as a "Qal common" of CWY rather
than CB).

I don't mind you using the info freely. I mind you using the info
commercially.
I don't need to have to look over my shoulder because someone comes on the
list asking a question and then sells the answer. I gave the answer because
I thought you wanted to learn, not because I thought you want to make money
off of my advice and help. I have at least the right to feel very annoyed if
someone does that, and if that's what you are going to do, it is your
responsibility to know that this is not the way you should be going around
making money. Whether it is legal or just unethical is a different question,
that neither the moderators nor I are responsible for telling you. That's
what
your local lawyer (and perhaps also your local pastor) is for. As for Mechon
Mamre, they clearly say that "our Bibles and other materials are not exactly
like any others and are fully protected by copyright laws in all countries."
That's saying something quite different from what you're saying. My guess
is that they know more about their legal standing than you do, and they
probably consulted a lawyer.
