Dear Colleagues,

I thought I understood, or at least knew how to figure out, the
text-critical apparatus in BHS, but I have come across the following
two issues that have let me know how little I know.

1) What is the difference in what the editor is communicating by the
following two comments?
"a-a > LXX*, add" and "a-a > LXX*, prb dl"

2) I have found a couple of comments that read, "an a (gamma) add?"
where (gamma) stands for the letter gamma, but I have not been able to
confirm what the letter gamma refers to here.

Thanks!
Rodney
