Keep in mind that the Omega-3s in flaxseed are unassimilable for some
people (particularly of Mediterranean ancestry) and can actually cause
adverse reactions, including mild skin problems.
Most people can eat flaxseed just fine, but for those who can't,
non-vegan alternatives such as eggs and fish oils are often
recommended.
Or so says my local natural health-care wizardess.
