With Skype, computer-to-computer calls are free. My son and I have used that
when he has been traveling over seas. Calls to landlines cost, but not a
lot. If you want the service, you'll have to look that up yourself. :)
If you want a telephone number, there is a nominal charge. Voice mails are
free. Instant messaging is free. I don't call anyone using Skype when I'm at
home, due to the previously mentioned satellite issues.
I'm not a salesperson for any service, so I refuse to hype any. Just share
my personal experiences.
