Uh, Bill, I don't want to let you down too hard, but much of our
manufacturing has already gone to China.

The industrial revolution starts with Newcomen in about 1705. The age of
oil starts with Drake in 1859. Humankind has existed for about 250,000
years, agriculture for about 10,000 years, civilization as we define it for
about 6000 years, the industrial revolution for 300, and cheap oil for
150. It did not take us long to screw things up.
