I have a hard time seeing it any other way. When I look at the hardly
bigger than dust carrot and lettuce seed, being concerned that it's organic
seems
just silly.
My homestead is not organic by the USDA sold out to the highest bidder
definition. The produce is clean and safe without the interests of the mega
pseudo-organic farms taken into consideration.
However I have become quite dogmatic about OP seeds. Can't always justify
the bias, but none the less when I see F1 in the description, I pass it by.
This year some 70% or so of the gardens will be planted with saved seeds.
Not
least is the feeling of one-upsmanship where I had to pay $3 or $4 for 15
seeds
a couple of years ago but now have a quart jar full of them. Ha!
