I'd expect that
Element name = new Element("name");
System.out.println(name.toXML());
would kick out
<name></name>
and that
Element name = new Element("name", "");
System.out.println(name.toXML());
would kick out
<name xmlns=""></name>
but the opposite is true in xom-1.0d4. That is:
Element name = new Element("name", "");
gets you
<name></name>
and
Element name = new Element("name");
gets you
<name xmlns=""></name>
What do people think? Am I missing something?
Mike
