Disclaimer:

I know nothing about fedora or other redhat distros. But this suggests
that scsi is there and seeing the drive:

aic7xxx: PCI Device 2:0:0 failed memory mapped test. Using PIO.
ahc_pci:2:0:0: Host Adapter Bios disabled. Using default SCSI device
parameters
scsi0 : Adaptec AIC7XXX EISA/VLB/PCI SCSI HBA DRIVER, Rev 6.2.36
<Adaptec 1480A Ultra SCSI adapter>
aic7860: Ultra Single Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 3/253 SCBs

so what does cat /proc/scsi/scsi return?

Is the drive listed in /etc/fstab?

What happens when you try to mount it manually?
