Diary entry 23/4/77: "Went to Roxy. Sold practically all of our fanzines - made money for Clash tickets. Sold one to Billy Idol - sweet. Saw Violators and Siouxsie & The Banshees. Everyone there except Mick Jones & Eater."
This is my last diary entry for the Roxy (although I did go once more to see Defiant). It was the night Andy & Sue got chucked out and Siouxsie made a speech on stage telling everyone that the Roxy was finished. We moved on. (Photo of Siouxsie that night by Michael Quirke)
