"July will see the release, on Finders Keepers, of Strange Passion:
Explorations in Irish Post-Punk DIY and Electronic Music – a brilliant
compilation curated by Darren McCreesh. Though some names featured
will be familiar to you, the majority – among them Dogmatic Element,
SM Corporation and Tripper Humane – are rather harder to place.
Remarkably, given their obscurity, these bands’ songs – which range in
style from laconic indie-pop to eerie minimal synth – are all
tremendous."
