Hi folks,
Equally interesting to gender in punk is race. I just picked up the book White Riot edited by Stephen Duncombe and Maxwell Tremblay. Anyone else reading this book? Would love to have a discussion about it. I think gender plays into this discussion too -- read interpretations of Patti's Rock'n Roll Nigger, for example.
Best,
Dina
