I thought this might be of interest to any London-based TGs:

On Friday Viv Albertine is headlining a gig at a very small venue in east London.  Also on the bill are Television Personalities and a young women's choir called Typical Girls, who'll be performing choral renditions of Desperate Bicycles tunes.

The night is a book launch for Aaron Williamson's new book, Splitting the Atom on Dalston Lane, about the Desperate Bicycles and the birth of the punk DIY movement, published by Hackney fanzine The Eel.

It's at a pub called the Stagg's Head (55 Orsman Road, N1) in De Beauvoir Town, and entry is free.  The pub is small, so the organizers suggest arriving by 8:00 p.m. to ensure entry.
