In terms of catchy, well-played pop-rock, with bits of ska and dance
to it, I would recommend the Belle Stars' BELLE-ISSIMA, a 2CD
collection on Edsel Records UK (re-issue from 2004 of music from the
early 80s). Most noted at the time for their hit 'Sign of the Times',
but hardly the only worthy material here. Many years after the band
ended, oddly enough, they had a hit with 'Iko Iko'. :)
