An unusually interesting presentation on peak oil, globalization,
and climate change is available in video at

http://energybulletin.net/node/51306

What makes this special is that the presenter, Jeff Rubin, is not
a liberal, an environmentalist, or a sustainability thinker; he's
the former Chief Economist of CIBC World Markets (CIBC is one of
the largest Canadian financial institutions). So he brings to the
subjects of oil and climate change a very hard-nosed perspective.
His take on the implications of rising oil prices and carbon taxes
for the return of jobs and manufacturing to North America is
especially interesting.

Remember as you watch this (or listen -- there are no slides or
other visual aids, so you won't miss anything if you just get the
audio) that Rubin is Canadian and that he's speaking to an
audience in Toronto, so references to "this country" mean Canada.
