After taking a month off for the holidays, TCLocal returns with
another in our series of articles researching local responses to
the challenges of energy descent.

Following on Krys Cail's introductory piece "Burning Transitions,"
published in October, Krys and TCLocal contributor Tony Nekut kick
off our third year of publication with a review of efforts to
provide for local heating needs with locally produced wood and
