SMGL generally takes up more space than 128 Mb, but you can forego some of the
packages if you don't need a development environment. You'll need a setup with
a basic compiler (gcc), glibc, binutils, etc. and install Sorcery[0] and add
the stable grimoire[1] if Sorcery doesn't do that for you (I cannot recall if
it does or not). You'll then want to use the instructions for install_root[2]
to setup the system you want in some directory and once that's done you can
copy it to your USB key (after making sure the installed system won't be too
big ;)). You'll probably want to turn on the optimization flags for strip and
tiny.
