I'm trying to cast missing spells, and on coreutils I got a segfault in the
compiler. So I figured I should upgrade the compiler. I got a segfault doing
that:

gcc -c -g -DIN_GCC -W -Wall -Wwrite-strings -Wstrict-prototypes
-Wmissing-prototypes -Wtraditional -pedantic -Wno-long-long -DHAVE_CONFIG_H

-I. -I. -I/usr/src/gcc-3.3.3/gcc -I/usr/src/gcc-3.3.3/gcc/.
-I/usr/src/gcc-3.3.3/gcc/config -I/usr/src/gcc-3.3.3/gcc/../include
/usr/src/gcc-3.3.3/gcc/ifcvt.c -o ifcvt.o
gcc -c -g -DIN_GCC -W -Wall -Wwrite-strings -Wstrict-prototypes

The current gcc version I have is 3.2.1. Since the gcc that is giving me the
error is an old one, it doesn't make sense to submit a bug report. How do I
get past this and upgrade gcc?
