I have shadow's experimental version that allows you to throttle bandwidth.
I forget where I got it (check out #bittorrent on freenode.net) - I've put it
up at http://linux.aliboom.com/BitTorrent-experimental-S-5.5.2.zip

I have both versions. Generally, the only part I use from the experimental
version is btdownloadgui.py which I store in a directory in my home directory.
