IMHO you won't save much bandwidth. Also having our grimoires the way they
are
is pretty simple to edit and maintain. Pertaining to the fact that if you
don't use KDE then you shouldn't have to have the kde spells, the grimoires
appear to be moving this way. the z-rejected spells are placed in their own
grimoire now, as are games. So if you're running a server then you probably
won't need the game spells. To do the change you've suggested, if I've
understood what you've described, it would require a complete rewrite of the
way sorcery handles spells.
Why would you need to have a section tag when we can physically group them
and
have the filesystem keep track of sections instead of doing it ourselves?
IMHO if you don't have to reinvent the wheel, don't.
