Dear freshmeat.net subscriber,

barsnick just announced version 6u21 of Sun Java Platform, Standard Edition
on freshmeat.net.

The changes are as follows:

Several new system configurations, including the Google Chrome browser, are
now
officially supported. Support for customized loading progress indicators was
implemented. Java Hotspot VM 17.0 is now included, along with its Garbage
First
(G1) garbage collector. A Drag'N'Drop crash and several other minor bugs were
fixed.

The Sun Java Platform, Standard Edition (JSE)
Development Kit (JDK) contains the essential
compiler, tools, runtime libraries, and APIs for
developers writing, deploying, and running applets
and applications in the Java programming language.
The JSE Runtime Environment (JRE) contains the
runtime libraries and tools for running applets
and applications.
