Dear freshmeat.net subscriber,

gedakc just announced version 0.6.0 of Gnome Partition Editor on
freshmeat.net.

The changes are as follows:

This release brings support for devices with sector sizes greater than 512
bytes. It adds support for devices with sector sizes > 512 bytes, adds an
alignment option to align to MiB, and sets default alignment to align to MiB.
Known issues: when used with libparted versions 2.3 and lower on devices with
sector sizes > 512 bytes, used/unused space is not detected and shrinking
filesystems is not available on HFS/HFS+.

Project description:

Gnome Partition Editor is a graphical frontend to
libparted. It supports creating, resizing, moving,
and copying of partitions.
