Dear freshmeat.net subscriber,

sobukus just announced version 1.11.0 of mpg123 on freshmeat.net.

The changes are as follows:

At the expense of some small trouble, this release should be safe for the
future
regarding the hybrid setup of small and large file support on certain systems
(like GNU/Linux and Solaris on x86). If your system does optional large file
support, a build of libmpg123 with that enabled will be called
libmpg123_64.so,
and a default build with small file support will be called just libmpg123.so.
HTTP streams are supported on Windows. IPv6 behavior was improved. A potential
ICY reading issue was resolved. Assembler code was cleaned up.

Project description:

Mpg123 is a fast, free and portable MPEG audio player and decoder library
mainly
for Unix (but also ported to other platforms). It supports MPEG 1.0/2.0/2.5
layers 1, 2, and 3, with CD quality playback even on relatively slow CPUs.
