The changes in this release are as follows:
This release includes fixes for backtrace handling. In addition,
libparted now dynamically allocates exception message space. The
library also introduces a new function called
ped_device_cache_remove() to remove a single device from the cache.
The parted(8) command line tool has been improved. Zero size devices
are now correctly shown as 0.00B rather than -0.00kB. The 'print
list' command is an alias for 'print all', and 'mktable' is an alias
for 'mklabel'. The 'print devices' command is new in this release.

Project description:
GNU Parted is a package for creating, destroying, resizing, checking,
and copying partitions and the file systems on them. This is useful
for creating space for new operating systems, reorganizing disk
usage, copying data between hard disks, and disk imaging. It contains
a library, libparted, and a command-line frontend, parted, which also
serves as a sample implementation and script backend.
