This email is to inform you about the release of version '1.5.4' of 'GNU
Transport Layer Security Library' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and

The changes in this release are as follows:
New API functions to set errno in push/pull functions were added. When
calling "recv" or "send", Windows errors are handled properly. Several
OpenPGP API fixes were made. When a GnuTLS server receives a SSLv2
Client Hello for an unknown TLS version, it now tries to negotiate
the highest version supported by the GnuTLS server, instead of the
lowest. Old constructs were replaced with the use of gnulib modules.
SOVERSION computation for *.def files was fixed.

GNU Transport Layer Security Library is a library which implements a
secure layer over a reliable transport layer such as TCP/IP. It
implements the TLS 1.1 and SSL 3.0 protocols, accompanied with
authentication methods such as X.509, OpenPGP, and SRP.
