This email is to inform you about the release of version '1.5.3' of 'GNU
Transport Layer Security Library' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and

The changes in this release are as follows:
A new self-test of RSA-MD5 signature chains was added. The self tests
were re-factored. The included copy of Libtasn1 was updated to
version 0.3.7 and OpenCDK to version 0.5.11. The filename of the
*.def file on Windows was fixed after the library version bump. The
gnulib directory was separated into one for LGPL modules and one for
GPL.

GNU Transport Layer Security Library is a library which implements a
secure layer over a reliable transport layer such as TCP/IP. It
implements the TLS 1.1 and SSL 3.0 protocols, accompanied with
authentication methods such as X.509, OpenPGP, and SRP.
