This email is to inform you about the release of version '2.5' of 'mdadm'
through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found
at

http://freshmeat.net/projects/mdadm/

The changes in this release are as follows:
A significant new feature is auto assembly, which causes mdadm to
search for components of md arrays and assemble what it finds. This
works in conjunction with a new --homehost option, which can tag
arrays to tell which host they should be assembled on. Also, if no
DEVICE list is given, "DEVICE partitions" is assumed. The
configuration file can now provide a "mailfrom address". A copy of
/proc/mdstat is included with email from --monitor mode. Assorted
other updates were made.

Release focus:
5 - Major feature enhancements
