The changes in this release are as follows:
CURLOPT_COOKIEFILE now takes an empty string to enable cookies, and
FTP transfers using multi interface are much less blocking. This
release fixes NTLM/krb4 buffer overflows, a crash related to the -#
option, a proxy authentication bug, a socket leak with local binds,
an SSL 16KB problem, an inflate bug, and date strings.

Project description:
curl and libcurl is a tool for transferring files using URL syntax. It
supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, DICT, TELNET, LDAP, FILE, and GOPHER,
as well as HTTP-post, HTTP-put, cookies, FTP upload, resumed
transfers, passwords, portnumbers, SSL certificates, Kerberos, and
proxies. It is powered by libcurl, the client-side URL transfer
library. There are bindings to libcurl for nearly 30 languages and
environments.
