I was going to ask you about that. Had you planned on having a cups script
installed whether cups is installed or not?

If you'll look at the BUILD file you'll notice that I have already worked
around the "make install" problem. It would be no big deal to leave the
Makefile patch and remove the symlink configuration. I'd like to know soon,
however, 'cause there is a bug out on that and I was going to move most of it
to a CONFIGURE file. If you're doing the install of the init script, it'll
save me having to redo that part. :^)

On a slightly related note, I use metalog and not sysklogd. How will it
affect my system if I have an init.d script installed for a program that is
not installed (same w/cups)?
