Hi all,
I just read an article about Gentoo having quickly starting applications
because of prelinking, so I checked if there is some spell in SourceMage
which does the same, and I found nothing. That Gentoo article notes that
prelinking changes MD5 sums of binaries (because it must change them), so
prelinking support would most probably require support from sorcery
scripts.
So my question is: is there any intention for using prelink, and if so how
is it going?
Kind regards,
Andy
P.S.: the articles are http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/performance.xml and
