Notes:
/mnt/smgl is a mount to root on my SMGL box at work (has Sorcery 1.0.6)
/ is a mount to root on my RedHat box at work (v9.0)

[root@isp39 root]# cat /mnt/smgl/etc/group|grep man
[root@isp39 root]# cat /etc/group|grep man
man:x:15:
[root@isp39 root]#

[root@isp39 root]# cat /mnt/smgl/etc/passwd|grep man
man:x:6:100:man:/var/cache/man:/bin/sh
[root@isp39 root]# cat /etc/passwd|grep man

It appears we have it backwards, or RedHat does (brief: we have 'man' in
/etc/passwd, RedHat has 'man' in /etc/group), but the application I am
working on (yard: http://www.linuxlots.com/~fawcett/yard/) said that he is
trying to follow LSB on where things are, but I haven't looked up where
'man' should go, either /etc/passwd, /etc/group, or both.

Thoughts?
