The second case for that function being called is if it's dependancies
are bad... one of the required ones doesn't exist or stuff like that.
Then the function is written it'll check back up the tree and there'll
be a third case, but for now there are only the two cases for it being
called, the spell is invalid or one of it's depends is invalid.
