Let me clairify: in both files TMPFS was either off in both files or on, not
one each.
Changing TMPFS in the config files ( to off ) didn't help, nor did changing it
in the sorcery|Option|Feature Menu matter. My physical ram shot up thru the
roof, followed by a hit to cache, the following output, and then a dropoff in
ram/cache usage.
