Summary: gaze short/what quit on first bad spell name
Product: Sorcery
Version: 1.14.x
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: Gaze
AssignedTo: sm-sorcery-bugs AT lists.ibiblio.org
ReportedBy: eekee57 AT fastmail.fm
The 'what' and 'short' commands to gaze both take a list of spell names of
arbitrary length. If any of the given names is not a spell gaze quits at that
point, refusing to process the rest of the list.
I would find it more convenient if both commands would delay exit until the
end
of the list, and also report non-spells on stdout so they show up in order if
the output is redirected to a pager or file.
