Downgrading is perfectly legitimate. An example would be for security reasons
or a concrete example is the freetype2 revert we've been doing for the last
few
stables for old xorg to work.
If you don't want that to happen, sorcery hold such spells. Or review the
queue
(cast --queue can show the histories). You can also quickly compare the
versions with:
gaze version $(tr '\n' ' ' < /var/log/sorcery/queue/install)
