------- Additional Comments From iuso AT sourcemage.org 2007-08-13 05:29 -------
How about this: Change the normal cast to not ask the "continue to use?"
prompts, but add a flag for enabling those prompts. That would allow e.g.
testing configure options in the way Mathieu said he occasionally does, but
wouldn't get in the way when just casually casting something.
I apologise if I'm stressing this too much, but I strongly feel that a
regular
`cast foo` should interfere with the "press enter once and go" experience as
little as possible. It should never ask about anything that it has a
pre-answered default in store. (In addition to the "continue to use?" prompt
this should ideally also apply to the init script prompts, but that's a
different bug.)
Anyway, thanks for the comments guys. I didn't realize before that others
actually find this feature useful. I'm hoping that Jaka can comment on this
too.
