Yes, the instructions to reproduce the bug I posted above did not work for me
neither today, although they did at the time. I think I know why, after doing
some experiments.

I reproduced it this time by doing
1) cast -c init.d
2) cast -c net-tools
3) cast -c net-tools

1) The cast of init.d runs fine besides resetting facilities to some
defaults.
Thus facilities is modified now. It's basically another bug imho, but
important
is the fact that it was changed.

2) During the first cast of net-tools I get this:

Preparing to install net-tools
/etc/sysconfig/facilities
was previously modified by SA?
Therefore, it was not reaped.

As the message says the file ist still there after the cast.

3) On the second cast of net-tools

sed: can't read /etc/sysconfig/facilities: No such file or directory
Unable to modify facilities file to make network provider of network.

The file is gone now.

So I conclude it's some unlucky order of spell updates that results in the
unwanted behaviour. In my case it was [init.d, net-tools, net-tools].

When I encountered this bug the first time, I saved the facilities file,
which
was previously modified by an update of init.d and copied it back before the
double net-tools cast. In a way I reproduces 1) by that.

This is all very mysterious I have to admit. I hope the number of steps to
reproduce stay at 3 for now ;-)
