Platform: All

In a menu like this one:
--- cut ---
linux running configuration...
What make configuration tool would you like to use?
(0) menuconfig
(1) oldconfig
(2) silentoldconfig
(3) xconfig
(4) defconfig
(5) gconfig
(6) allmodconfig
(7) allyesconfig
(8) allnoconfig
(9) randconfig
(10) smgl-update-defaults
Which one do you want? [0]
--- cut ---
To select the 11th choice, the user is supposed to type "a", not "10"; trying
to
type "10" will select the choice marked "1", and try to answer "0" to the next
question.
Cast should display (a), (b) etc rather than (10), (11), to avoid mistakes.
Otherwise it's hard to guess what you should do... although if you're a real
mage, you should at least think to try hex ;-)
