------- Additional Comments From vlmarek AT volny.cz 2005-12-02 06:29 -------
Sorry for the late reply, I have not received mail from bugzilla about added
comment. ( I should also include in CC I guess ).

So, I'm using devel sorcery, quite frequently updated (every two-three days).
I'm using 'file 4.16' from test grimoire. If you wish I can create full
superdebug output from sorcery, but I believe that it's easilly reproducible.

* place 'coreutils' as a first line in /var/log/sorcery/queue/install
* run 'gaze install-queue'

Personally I wouldn't mind removing the xenix core dump from the magic file,
the
chance that we will meet one is near to zero. Steps to do so are easy:
* cd /usr/share/misc/file
* vi magic # comment the line containing 'core file (Xenix)'
* rm magic.mgc # remove precompiled database
* file -C magic # create new precompiled databas

gaze then starts to work 'magically' :) I'm attaching
sm-grimoire-bugs AT lists.ibiblio.org so if anyone reads it, he has chance to
defend agains my idea.
