Summary: RFC on how to specify that checksum has to be ignored
Product: Sorcery
Version: Untargetted future release
Platform: All
URL: http://www.sourcemage.org/security-
source_integrity_checking_standards
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P5
Component: subroutines
AssignedTo: sm-sorcery-bugs AT lists.ibiblio.org
ReportedBy: sergey AT sourcemage.org
I didn't find the analog of MD5[x]=IGNORE for the new hash checking features.
My
primary source is in the bug's URL. If I use SOURCE_HASH='IGNORE' I get this:
hash checking source file trac-HEAD.tar.bz2...
algorithm IGNORE is not known!
Using MD5[x]=IGNORE still works so I'm filing this as an enhancement. I don't
know if something like that was even planned for inclusion into new hash
checking code.
