Summary: Enhance Sweeping Ability
Product: Sorcery
Version: 1.12.x
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P3
Component: Cleanse
AssignedTo: sm-sorcery-bugs AT lists.ibiblio.org
ReportedBy: dhaley AT hot.rr.com

Enhancement request to add sweeping ability that sweeps out all compile cache
and source files for programs that are no longer installed on the system. I
understand now that these files stay on the machine even after a spell is
dispelled and is only swept when an updated compile or source file is present.

I would like to save some hard drive space, but I don't want to have to clear
compile and source files out for everything as that would be
redownloading/recompiling thigns that I still have on my system.

Can something like a --sweep-all option be added to the the cleanse script to
not only sweep out things that have been updated, but those things that have
been dispeled and are no longer needed.

regards,
SilverS
