------- Additional Comments From acedit AT armory.com 2005-04-16 10:08 -------
I specified the version fixed in my comment while closing the bug.

It was not fixed in 1.12.0 because it only effected resurrect into an
install_root if the directory spine didnt exist. Since theres a two second
workaround (mkdir $INSTALL_ROOT/usr/src) I did not see this as a
'show-stopping'
bug. The goal isn't to have a 100% bug-free release, the goal is to fix more
than we break and provide much needed functionality (such as improved
resurrect). If I were to hold off forever on seemingly minor bugs, sorcery
would
never get released. No software unless its absolutly trivial is released
without
/any/ bugs.

In the future if you could please ellucidate on why you think a particular bug
should hold up a stable release perhaps we could avoid your bitch sessions on
#abtlinux about my incompetence as a developer? If not have it your way, im
not
a mind reader, and I dont know what you think is a showstopper unless you
communicate that.

I've gone out of my way to be accomidating to your needs while respecting the
needs of the rest of the users and if the response I get is shit-talk behind
my
back about lack of communication in smgl, i suggest you look at yourself and
realize that you're part of the problem.
